This is the girl who STARTED IT ALL!!! Suzanne has always loved horses, but was blessed to call Susie her first horse. They found each other through one of Suzanne's college friends her second year at Tarleton State University when Susie was 8 years old and pretty "green". Through blood, sweat, tears, and triumph these two taught each other so much... Susie's attitude towards any obstacle presented to her is why she is such an invaluable partner! She has altered her partnership with Suzanne as Suzanne's life has changed. From being "her" horse to being a horse she can trust her children to be on bareback and halterless in a pasture...a babysitter. Her babies have proven to be a perfect copy cat of their mother's personality. Anyone who purchases a Susie baby would be buying a horse they would want for life! |

(Meaning: God is my strength; God is with me) was rescued by us in 2011 (she was approximately 2). After much love, care, and support she blossomed and stole our hearts with her mind, affection, and willingness to attempt any task asked of her. She picked up being halter broke just by being handled daily to clean a severe wound on her leg twice daily...she never flinched. After a lot of veterinary care, feed, and love she finally recovered enough to attempt to ride her. She NEVER BUCKED! She was ridden at our local nature preserve after only 15 rides. Ridden over bridges, culverts, and all sorts of terrain without one bit of a head nod. 2014 was her first foal and we see a BRIGHT future for that amazing little man! Yeah, this girl has the BRAINS, BEAUTY, and SWEETNESS all in one package! 2014 foal by Hairpin Pepsi San has been shown in roping. |
