About us
Pictured Suzanne (Head Trainer) and James Transier
Suzanne grew up in the city and began working for veterinarians at the age of 15. She grew up with all sorts of small animals, dogs, cats, hamsters, birds, etc., but always LOVED horses and dogs! She worked for veterinarians throughout her years in college and initially planned on pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine, but decided to change her course.
Throughout college she continued to work within the Veterinary Industry and while working on her Master's she managed an AAHA Accredited Veterinary Hospital and began a Behavioral Consultation business working with problematic dogs, cats, and horses.
She expanded her knowledge with behavioral correction by attending annual Veterinarian Symposiums and picking up every seminar focusing on animal behavior and correction. Presentations presented by Perdue University where they analyzed “Cesar Millan’s” videos that were not allowed to be aired (Purdue’s Animal Behavior Department is in charge of allowing his videos for release). They’d discuss cases, etc. She continued to expand her knowledge while working with Dr. Lecretia Taliaferro a well know veterinarian and behavioralist, may she Rest In Peace.
She continued her knowledge base with reading, training her own, complying her own puppy classes, and beginning her own business. The AKC club in Stephenville, TX learned about her behavioral business when her dog, Tig and her completed in the AKC Good Dog Citizens Challenge. He was the highest ranked and passed the entire course with flying colors. She was then asked to provide a basic training presentation for the club.
She has continued, over the years providing veterinarians with presentations with proper handling and restraint for their employees of animals (dogs, cats, and horses) plus many other species. It all goes back to animal behavior when dealing with proper restraint!
Suzanne graduated from Tarleton State University in 2005 with a B.S. in Animal Production and 2007 with a M.S. in Agriculture. Both degrees focused primarily on Ruminant Nutrition, Equine Behavior and Psychology, Equine Conditioning/Evaluation, and Equine Nutrition. She now has a career in Agriculture and works with James and their children to produce intelligent, sound, and family friendly Aussies and American Quarter Horses.

Pictured Brett and Magen Wootton (Trainer)
Magen grew up riding and showing World Champion horses, including Vested Legacy, with her mother and working cattle with her father. They raised Australian Shepherds to help on the farm and appreciated their natural drive to constantly learn and be an active part of the family. She worked with the puppies to get them ready for their new homes and to socialize and teach them manners before they went on to their new homes, which were usually to fellow ranchers and horse people.
During college, Magen worked for a ranch that raised working Australian Shepherds and registered Border Collies and received even more experience working with dogs. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Services and Development at Tarleton State University and achieved her teacher’s certification to teach Agriculture to high school students. She understands that effective communication between owner and pet is key to the success of a happy pet home and she will strive to help establish that connection between owners and their companions.
Today Magen assists Suzanne as much as possible with the socialization of their Australian Shepherds, handling of all the livestock on Circle JTS Ranch, and is truly a blessing to have a family friend to the Transier’s Family.
This paragraph does little to describe how much Magen is a true friend! She has a gift with animals! ~insert by Suzanne Transier
Magen and her husband, Brett, reside in Lindale, TX with their son, Layton, 3 horses, and their Australian Shepherd, Augustus, in which they purchased from Circle JTS Ranch.
